There were no injuries reported in a fire that destroyed a house in Clifton on Tuesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, firefighters were called to 132 Clifton Avenue to investigate reports of a house fire at approximately 10:30 a.m.
When crews arrived at the scene, they found fire ripping through the roof of the significant two and a half story house, according to fire officials.
Firefighters stretched several lines and were able to beat down the fire in less than a half-hour. A search of the house for trapped and injured occupants came back negative.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
