Officials for the NJ State Police are looking into the cause of a crash that killed a person on the NJ Turnpike in Middlesex County on Sunday morning.
According to police, the crash happened at approximately 1:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway near mile marker 94 in Woodbridge.
NJ State Police Officials issued this brief statement: "Troopers responded at 1:45 a.m. to a multi-vehicle crash on the NJ Turnpike
southbound inner roadway Mile Post 94.1, Woodbridge Twp. One confirmed fatality at this time.
No further information is available at the moment".
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
