Fire Officials in Orange are investigating a fire that tore through a house in the city on Friday night.
According to preliminary reports, firefighters were called to 47 Hillyer Street to investigate reports of a house fire at approximately 7 p.m.
Orange firefighters arrived at the scene and immediately requested mutual assistance after finding fire tearing through the roof of the large house, according to officials.
As the fully involved fire engulfed the home, crews began to attack the blaze from the exterior until they could extinguish much of the fire. Firefighters were eventually able to get inside the structure for a search, but no trapped or injured victims were located.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
