The driver of a car that struck a juvenile in East Orange stayed at the scene and cooperated with police on Wednesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened in the vicinity of 907 South Orange Avenue just before 8 a.m., where emergency responders found the unidentified boy on the ground after a vehicle struck him at that location.
Officials say the boy suffered non-life threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
