Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Acting Chief of Investigations Chris Kimker announce the indictment of Tajinder Tung, 48, of Stewartsville.
Officials say the defendant was originally arrested and charged on August 21, 2019.
According to Morris County officials today, the Grand Jury for Morris County handed up an indictment which charged this defendant with two counts of official misconduct, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:30-2, which is a crime of the second degree; and stalking, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-10b, a crime of the fourth degree.
An investigation disclosed that between 2017 and May 2019, the defendant, who was employed as a teacher at the Mount Olive High School, had stalked a student and committed acts that constituted a course of alarming conduct, both inside and outside of the school according to Morris County officials.

A criminal complaint is merely an accusation. Despite this accusation, this defendant is presumed innocent until he is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
