Hudson County officials are reporting non-life threatening injuries for the victim of a stabbing that occurred at a location in Bayonne on Monday night.
According to police, the incident happened at a residence in the vicinity of 29th Street and Avenue C at approximately 8:30 p.m.
In the domestic incident, police say an unidentified female suspect produced a sharp object and stabbed a woman at that location.
The injured woman was transported to an area hospital for treatment and expected to make a full recovery.
Police took the suspect into custody and charged her with aggravated assault according to reports.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation. There were no other injuries reported.
