Police in Newark swiftly recovered a vehicle that was reportedly carjacked at a location in Newark's North Ward on Saturday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the vicinity of Abington and Clifton avenue to investigate reports of a stolen vehicle at around 1 a.m.
Units arrived to find a female victim who said two black males took her vehicle according to reports.
Police officers who canvassed the area found the unoccupied vehicle still running in the vicinity of Parker and Abington Avenue.
Police are looking for suspects who wore dark clothing.
There were no reports of physical injuries.
