Oaklyn Man Charged with Sending Explicit Images to Underage Boys on Social Media

According to a statement released by officials, Mr. Christopher Ferrari, 24, of Oaklyn, has been criminally charged by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office with Manufacturing Explicit Images of Minors and multiple counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor after an investigation by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office.

According to authorities, Ferrari surrendered himself at the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday and was detained at the Salem County Correctional Facility, pending a first appearance in Gloucester County Superior Court, Woodbury on Wednesday.

According to the charges, Ferrari sent and requested explicit images via social media to underage boys who he met through the South Jersey Elite Baron’s Soccer Youth Program, where he was employed as a coach.

The South Jersey Elite Baron’s Soccer Youth Program has been very cooperative in assisting with the investigation.

Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of their rights as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State Law.
