Fire officials in Jersey City are investigating a suspicious fire that occurred in a neighborhood in the city on Wednesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, firefighters were called to the 30's block of Sackett Street after receiving calls that garbage cans were on fire at that location.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and found that someone poured gasoline on garbage then ignited the blaze.
Officials say the flames caused some damage to a car and a building.
There were no injuries and the incident remains under investigation.
