Police in Jersey City are on the search for a suspect wanted for a robbery that occurred at a location in the city Monday night.
According to reports, police were called to the vicinity of 69 Monticello Avenue to investigate reports of a robbery.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim who reported that a black male suspect approached and demanded personal possessions.
The suspect ran from the scene immediately after the robbery, according to the victim.
It is not clear if the suspect was armed with a weapon at this time and no injuries were reported.
