Authorities in Bergen County are looking into a pedestrian strike that killed a person in Ridgefield this evening.
According to preliminary reports, the victim was struck by a car in NJ-5and Maple Avenue at around 6:55 p.m.
Police and EMS arrived to find the unidentified person severely injured at that location.
Police closed the interaction for the investigation.
There were no other injuries reported.
