Police in Kearny has the area of Seeley and Schuyler avenues closed as authorities investigate a high-speed pursuit that resulted in a crash this afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, multiple police agencies began chasing the vehicle occupied by a suspect who was wanted for a felony robbery.
Police say the driver refused to stop and led officers on a high-speed pursuit through several municipalities.
The suspect's vehicle crashed near the intersection and officers were immediately able to take the male into custody.
There are no reports of severe injuries at this time.
