Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and Chief Thomas Bryan of the Edison Police Department announced that a male student has been charged following an investigation revealing multiple threats sent via email.
One of the charges investigated involved previously reported threats made on September 13, 2019 that resulted in heightened school security at J.P. Stevens High School.
Official say, a juvenile male student, whose name will not be released due to his age, has been charged with multiple counts of false public alarm, terroristic threats, impersonation and one count of computer theft for incidents that occurred on various dates, including September 13.
