Police officials in Elizabeth are investigating a crash that had an officer’s cruiser at a location in Elizabeth Saturday morning.
The crash happened near the intersection of South 5th Street and 4th Avenue at around 8 a.m.
At least one police officer was transported to the University Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries after the cop car collided with an SUV.
Police say two victims inside the SUV were extricated then transported to the hospital in stable condition. There was one other vehicle involved in the crash according to Elizabeth Police officials.
The official cause of the crash is under investigation.
