Jersey City Police are looking into a stabbing incident that sent one person to the hospital Friday night.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of 299 Old Bergen Road to investigate reports of an injured person at approximately 10:25 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found one person suffering a severe stab wound at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and they remain in stable condition according to officials.
The motive for the attack is under investigation.
