Police officials in Newark announced that streets will be closed during designated hours for the Halsey Street Festival. The event was postponed from its originally scheduled date and will be held on Thursday, September 19th.
Officials say beginning at 11 a.m. through 11 p.m., the following streets will be closed:
· Halsey Street between Central Avenue and Linden Street
· Bleeker Street between Washington and Halsey Street
· New Street between Broad and Washington Street
Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes.
