Police in Newark are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect wanted in connection with an auto burglary that occurred on Thursday, September 12.
According to police, at approximately 4:50 p.m., the suspect allegedly broke into a vehicle parked in the area of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Springfield Avenue and stole a black tote bag containing a Mac Book computer and charger.
Police say the suspect is described as muscular and 6’2” tall with a medium brown complexion.
He was wearing a gray shirt, jeans and sneakers and had his hair in braids. He was also carrying a a blue plastic bag according to police.
While police are actively searching for this suspect, we seek the public’s help in quickly identifying him as part of this investigation.
