Paterson Police are conducting a shots-fired investigation at a location in the city after a gunman fired shots in the community early Tuesday morning.
Police say officers responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 49 Sandy Court jus before 12:40 a.m.
Investigators arrived at the scene found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after a search of the area, there were no victims located.
Police collected about four shell casings while canvassing the scene. The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
