Police in Newark are investgiating a crash that involved a NJ Transit bus Monday morning in the city's South Ward.
According to NJ Transit officials, the #99 bus attempting to make its final destination to the Branch Brook Park Station was involved in a collision with a black Honda at approximately 7:48 a.m. near the intersection of Bergen Street and Madison Avenue.
NJ Transit officials say about 42 occupants were on the bus during the time of the collision.
There were no severe injuries reported and The Newark Police Department is handling the investigation.
