Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Mr. Alan Falcone of Manhattan, NY, on charges of Attempted Murder, Unlawful Possession Of A Weapon, and Possession Of A Weapon For An Unlawful Purpose.
According to Bergen County officials, on Thursday, September 12th the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office received information that a male individual had been shot in the back in front of 201 Burns Avenue in the Borough of Lodi.
The victim, later identified as a 19-year-old Lodi resident, was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center where he remains in critical but stable condition.
Authorities say as result of the investigation, Falcone was arrested by detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the Lodi Police Department, and the New York City Police Department in the Bronx, NY. FALCONE was charged with one count each of Attempted Murder, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:5-1A(1)/2C:11-3A(1), a 1st degree crime; Unlawful Possession Of A Weapon, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-4A(1), a 2nd degree crime; and Possession Of A Weapon For An Unlawful Purpose, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-5B(1), a 2nd degree crime.
Authorities say Falcone was transported to Central Booking in Manhattan NY awaiting an extradition hearing.
