Police in newark are conducting an active investigation into a police car crash that occurred on a street in the city's West Ward.
According to Newark Police officials, the police vehicle was struck by a livery vehicle at Grove and Grain Street shortly before 4:45 a.m. today.
Officials say two police officers were transported to University Hospital for evaluation for pain and a livery driver was also transported to the hospital.
Newark Police officials said the cab driver's condition is not reported as severe at this time.
