Police in Moonachie are investigating a crash that occurred on US-46 late Tuesday night.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of Industrial Avenue to investigate reports of a crash with injuries just before 11:25 p.m.
Upon arrival, emergency crews found an unidentified person suffering injuries after a collision that involved a white two-door vehicle and a motorcycle at that location.
Police say the car left the scene and is believed to have substantial front-end damage.
There were non-life threatening injuries reported.
