EMS rushed an alert and conscious male to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment after police found the victim suffering a bullet wound in his stomach early Sunday morning.
It happened just before 2 a.m. in the vicinity of Martin Luther King Drive and Armstrong Avenue at approximately 2 a.m.
Police received reports of an injured male at that location.
Units arrived at the scene and found the unidentified male bleeding from his torso after being shot according to police.
Jersey City Police searched the scene and check surveillance camera in area to identify a crime scene.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation. No arrests were reported.
