There is an active search underway for suspects wanted for an armed robbery of a gas station in Newark Tuesday morning.
According to authorities, police officers were called to take a report of an armed robbery of a gas station located at 625 McCarter Highway at approximately 2:25 a.m.
Units arrived and were told by Exxon employees that suspects arrived at the station, armed with a gun, and took cash before fleeing the scene.
Police say one of the suspects wore all dark clothing while the other male wore a white or light-colored jacket.
There are no injuries reported.
The suspects remain at-large.
