There is an active investigation underway at Newark airport where police have a terminal shut down at this time.
According to preliminary reports, police would only say that no planes are moving due to an investigation at that began at Terminal A just before 9 p.m.

Customers said that heavily armed police immediately evacuated the terminal.
There are no reports of injuries at this time.
UPDATE 9:21pm Situation under control; customers are being re-screened at the terminal at this time. #EWR It was determined that there was no threat in the Terminal A-3 Satellite.
