TRENTON- Paula Castro of Paterson in Passaic County is a long-time New Jersey Lottery player.
Paula and her husband often play their favorite Lottery games together, she is a big fan of the draw games while her husband prefers Scratch-Off tickets.
While shopping at her local grocery store, she picked up her usual Jersey Cash 5 Quick Picks for the June 20 drawing.
She opted for just three Quick Picks on a single ticket, a $3 purchase that would be worth $342,957 before the end of the night!
Later that evening Paula watched the drawing on television and saw that her numbers matched, but didn’t want to get her hopes up, as it seemed too good to be true.
The following morning she went back to the retailer to check if she had won and it was there that she received the good news: She was a Jersey Cash 5 winner!
