A former Bloomfield High School resident, student-athlete was tragically killed in a car crash over the weekend in Florida.
According to officials, Anatalia Pena, 19, a high school soccer star was killed in the crash that occurred Sunday in Miami Shores.
Police say Pena was returning for her sophomore year of studies at Barry University.
According to Bloomfield High School officials, Pena was a 2018 graduate, soccer player, co-captain who scored 42 goals and earned 17 assists as part of the team.
Family and friends say Pena was a happy and intelligent person.
