Police are investgiating a shots-fired incident that caused property damage on a street in Jersey City Tuesday night.
According to police, a gunman arrived in the 200 block of Wegman Parkway and began to fire multiple shots at unknown targets before running from the scene.
Police say officers arrived and taped off the area after they found shell casings in the area that the shooting occurred. Officers canvassing the scene found that astray bullet struck the windshield of an unoccupied car according to police.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
