According to a statement released by police, the incident occurred a little after 8:30 p.m. last night.
Police say officers responded to sounds of a dispute in front of City Hall located at 301 N. Wood Ave.
Upon arrival, police say they observed juveniles fighting and began to disperse the group.
Officers broke up the fight, and four females were detained according to police officials.
Police say a female was treated on scene for minor injuries.
The juveniles were later released to their parents without further incident.
No charges have been filed at this time according to police.
The incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Juvenile Aid Bureau.
