Newark Police officials seek the public’s help in identifying a male suspect wanted in a dog theft that occurred on Wednesday.
Police received a report that a pit bull puppy named “Luna” was stolen from a residence in the area of Parkview Terrace and Weequahic Avenue.
Police say the suspect entered the victim’s porch at approximately 8 p.m., unleashed the 3-month old puppy and walked away with it.
Detectives investigating this incident obtained photos of the suspect, and are seeking the public’s help in quickly identifying him so that he can be removed from Newark streets.
