Police officials in Newark request the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect wanted in an incident of aggravated assault that occurred on Monday, August 5.
Police said at approximately 9 a.m., a male pointed a gun at a driver in the 100 block of Kerrigan Boulevard.
The victim called out to a man directing a vehicle out of a driveway when the male exited the vehicle and pointed a handgun at the victim.
Detectives investigating this incident have obtained a photo of the suspect, who is described as 6-ft. tall and wearing blue sweat pants with a white stripe on the side and a white t-shirt.
While police are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s help in quickly identifying him so that he can be removed from Newark streets.
