Two EMT's and a civilian were transported to an area hospital suffering non-fatal injuries after a collision that occurred on a street in Scotch Plains this afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, the crash happened at the intersection of Front Street and Hunter Avenue, where the car and the Ambulance collided at around 2:05 p.m.
Emergency responders and rescue crews arrived and assisted the injured victims.
Police say the EMT's were taken to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center and the civilian in the car was taken to Overlook Hospital in Summit.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
