EMS treated a man with non-life threatening facial injuries after several armed men reportedly attacked the victim at a location in Ocean gate.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened at around 11:45 p.m., where police were informed of an injured person in the 200 block of East Long Branch Avenue.
Officers arrived to find the victim bleeding from his face after he said about 5-6 black males approached and began to beat him with an object believed to be a gun.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and the suspects remain at-large.
