Authorities in Passaic County are investigating a stabbing that occurred at a location in Paterson Saturday night.
According to authorities, police responded to the Walgreens located in the 600 block of East 18th Street to investigate reports of an injured person at around 2:55 a.m.
Officers arrived and found an unidentified victim suffering non-life, threatening stab wounds inside the store according to police.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive according to reports.
Police are attempting to determine if the victim was attacked in the store or on the street, then ran into Walgreens to seek help.
The incident remains under investigation.
