Newark Police are conducting a crash investigation for an incident that occurred early Friday morning on a street in the city's Central Ward.
According to police, the two-vehicle collision happed at approximately 12:20 a.m. near the intersection of Spruce and Barclay streets.
Newark emergency responders arrived to find two severely damaged vehicles with at least two injured victims outside the cars.
Both victims were transported to the hospital where their injuries were reported as non-life threatening.
Police have not said what officially caused the collision at this time.
