There were injuries reported for the victim of a shooting that occurred at a location in Neptune Township Saturday night.
According to officials, the incident happened at approximately 8:40 p.m where police responded to shots fired that rang on in the 1200 block of 9th Avenue,
Units arrived at the scene and found a male victim struck multiple time by bullets at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to Jersey Shore Medical Center, where doctors treated non-life threatening injuries according to The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
