Police officials in Newark are investgiating a domestic violence incident that resulted in one person being stabbed at a location in Newark's South Ward Wednesday evening.
According to police, the incident occurred in the 200 block of Wainwright Street before 8:30 p.m. where police say the victim suffered a non-life threatening stab injury at that location.
The extent of the victim's injuries were not reported as life-threatening and the motive for the attack remains under investigation.
There were no other injuries reported.
