Firefighters batted a raging fire that engulfed a house in Bayonne this evening.
The multi-alarm fire happened at 29 East 16th Street just before 5:50 p.m. where crews arrived to find heavy fire tearing through the house and extending to a neighboring home.
Firefighters were able to locate the seat of the fire where they began the process of knocking down the flames.
At least two firefighters and a civilian was treated for non-life threatening injuries according to reports.
Fire officials place the fire under control at around 6:50 p.m. with the cause under investigation
