Police in Jersey City are investigating a shooting that injured two victims at a location in the city Tuesday night.
According to officials, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 477 Ocean Avenue at approximately 8:55 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found a male victim suffering gunshot injuries at that location. Police say, during their search of the area, they found a second victim in the 100 block of Stegman Avenue.
Both victims were transported to Jersey City Medical Center where their injuries have not been reported as life-threatening at this time.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined.
