Police officials in Newark request the public's assistance in identifying a man who is wanted in connection with a bank robbery that occurred Friday.
Police say at approximately 1:30 p.m., a man entered Wells Fargo Bank, located at 990 South Orange Avenue, and demanded cash.
The suspect threatened the teller by presenting a note stating that someone would die if he wasn't given money.
The teller complied and the man fled with $540.00 in cash police said.
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in quickly identifying the suspect so he can be removed from our streets.
