Police are on the search for a suspect wanted for shooting a male at a location in Jersey City Wednesday night.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of shots fired in the 200 block of Wegman Parkway shortly before 11:45 p.m. where officers arrived and found the victim struck by bullets.
EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center, where the extent of his injuries could not immediately be confirmed.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
