A man suffered non-life threatening injuries after he crashed his car into a tanker truck on a highway in Rahway Saturday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the crash happened at approximately 3 a.m. on US-1 and Grand Avenue where emergency responders rushed to the scene after they received reports of an accident at that location.
Upon arrival, rescue crews located a male out of the vehicle lying on the ground with an unidentified person providing medical assistance.
Firefighters secured the two vehicles while EMS transported the unidentified man to an area hospital for additional treatment.
There were no other injuries reported and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
