Middlesex County authorities are looking to identify a man whose body was recovered in a lake in Hamilton on Friday evening.
According to a statement released by police, on Friday, police were detailed to the lake area of Hamilton Lakes Drive for a deceased male partially submerged in the water.
Police say the victim was located at approximately 5:10 pm by a resident of Hamilton Lakes Drive who notified police for assistance.
Investigators believe the partially clothed, unidentified victim, to be a black male approximately 30-40 years old.
Officials say the deceased male was transported to Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the exact cause of his death.
The initial investigation does not indicate that foul play was involved at this time, according to authorities.
