MAYS LANDING – A 38 year-old Atlantic City man has been indicted on multiple assault, weapons and terroristic threats charges, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
Officials say Mr. Ronald Zurner was indicted by an Atlantic County Grand Jury on May 29, 2019 for the following charges:
One Count of third degree Terroristic Threats
One Count of third degree Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose
One Count of fourth degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon
One Count of third degree Purpose/Knowing
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
One Count of fourth degree Reckless Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
The charges stem from two incidents, one occurring in Atlantic City on April 18, 2019 and the other in occurring in Egg Harbor Township on April 19th.
Police say on April 18th Zurner allegedly threatened to cut L.M.’s head off and throw it in the woods and also to cut her lips off and knock her teeth in.
Police say On April 19th the defendant assaulted D.M. with a baseball bat causing injury to D.M.’s head.

The investigation was cooperative effort between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, Atlantic City Police Department and Egg Harbor Township Police Department.
