The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public's assistance with identifying a tractor-trailer that was involved in a crash that seriously injured Roger Hill, 54, of Dover, earlier today.
According to NJ State Police officials, at 3:05 a.m., an unidentified tractor-trailer was traveling on Interstate 80 westbound in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, Morris County. In the area of milepost 42.3, the truck struck Hill, who was in the roadway.
Officials say Hill sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to Morristown Medical Center. The driver of the truck departed the scene immediately after the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
