Police in Newark are on the search for two female suspects who are wanted for spraying mace on a man then robbing him for his personal possessions on a street in Newark on Monday evening.
According to authorities, the incident happened before 8 p.m. in the 40's block of Park Avenue where police were notified of an armed robbery in progress.
Units arrived at the scene and found the victim who reported that he was approached by two females who apparently demanded cash then sprayed him in the face with the mace.
The suspects -only described as Hispanic females- reportedly took the victim's wallet then ran from the scene.
Police say the victim did not suffer serious injuries. The incident is under investigation.
