Police in Trenton are investgiating a shooting incident that sent multiple people to the hospital on Monday night.
Authorities have not officially released an injury account for the incident where gunfire rang out in the 100 block of Walnut Street at approximately 11:35 p.m. where according to published reports, units arrived at the scene and found as many as five victims struck by bullets.
Al of the victims was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and St. Francis Medical Center for treatment with the extent of at least one of the injured reported as fatal at this time.
A gunman reportedly arrived in the area and began shooting at several people on the street then the suspect fled the scene.
