Hudson County authorities are looking into a double shooting incident that occurred in Jersey City on Saturday night.
According to police, gunfire erupted in the vicinity of Wegman Parkway and Ocean Avenue at approximately 11:50 p.m. where arriving officers taped off the area and began to investigate after they found two victims struck by bullets.
Police say one of the victims suffered a bullet wound to the back while the other person was struck to the leg during the incident.
Officials say the pair were rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and remain in stable condition at this time.
There were no arrests made and the motive for the shooting is under investigation.
