Police in Elizabeth are looking into a shots fired incident that caused minor injuries to one person in the city Saturday morning.
According to reports, gunfire erupted in the vicinity of North Broad and Magnolia streets at approximately 3:30 a.m. sending police to the scene where they found one person suffering a graze injury to the face.
The victim was transported to the hospital where doctors treated the non-life threatening wound.
Police canvassed the area for additional casualties, but after a search, they were unable to locate any other victims.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
