Camden County Woman Charged in DUI Crash

Officials say Kimberly Killion, 34, of Pennsauken, was charged with three counts of third-degree Assault by Auto, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo. Killion was also charged with Driving Under the Influence, Driving Under the Influence in a School Zone, Reckless Driving and Failure to Wear a Seatbelt, all motor vehicle tickets.

According to police, the night of May 3, 2019, Kimberly Killion left an establishment in Pennsauken after allegedly consuming alcohol at approximately 10:18 p.m.

While driving her vehicle, she collided with the front of the Flying Crust Pizza on the 7700 block of Park Avenue.

Police say three people who were inside of the pizzeria, a 42-year-old male from Woodlynne, a 25-year-old male from Philadelphia, and a 37-year-old male from Pennsauken, sustained minor injuries in the collision.

One of the victims was taken to the hospital for treatment and released the same night.

Killion was taken from the scene to a nearby hospital where she consented to a blood draw, and was later released.

An investigation conducted by Camden County Prosecutor’s Office detectives revealed that Kimberly Killion’s blood alcohol content was over the legal limit. She was processed at the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and released on a Summons, pending future court proceedings.

The investigation is ongoing.
